The 30-second version
Spire+ is Pragmatic Play’s box ladder game, released on 3 March 2026. There are nine levels. On each level you pick a box, or press Random. A safe box moves you up and raises your multiplier. A flaming skull ends the round and you lose the bet. You can cash out at any point, or clear all nine levels for the top prize. Five difficulty modes change the number of boxes (2, 3 or 4) and skulls (1, 2 or 3) in each row. Pragmatic Play’s game page gives a 97.5% RTP, and up to 98.25% for some choices. The launch release gives a 250,000x max win.
🗼 In Spire+, you pick one box per level and a flaming skull ends the round
Spire+ by Pragmatic Play is a nine-level ladder. Pragmatic Play’s game page says you start at level one, pick one of several boxes, and try to avoid the flaming skull. A safe box takes you up a level and raises your win multiplier. A skull ends the game and loses the bet. You can cash out at any point, or clear all nine levels for the maximum win.
Pick a mode and a bet
There are five modes: Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert and Master.
Pick a box
Tap a box, or press Random and the game picks one for you.
Climb or cash out
A safe box moves you up one level and raises your multiplier. You can cash out between levels.
Find a skull and lose
A flaming skull ends the round and the bet is lost. Clear all nine levels to win the top prize.
Pragmatic Play says the five modes change both the number of boxes in a row (2, 3 or 4) and the number of skulls. It does not list which box count goes with each mode. The maths does settle one of them: Master’s three skulls need four boxes, so only one box in four is safe.

📊 Spire+ pays 97.5%, and up to 98.25% on some choices
Pragmatic Play’s Spire+ game page gives a published RTP of 97.50%, and says some player choice combinations can return up to 98.25%. So the house edge is between 1.75% and 2.5%, depending on how you play. Over time that is 97.5 to 98.25 cents back for every $1. Pragmatic Play does not say which choices give the higher figure, so check the game’s info screen.
📝 For the record: The 97.5% and 98.25% figures, the nine levels and the skull rules come from Pragmatic Play’s own Spire+ page. The 250,000x max win and the 3 March 2026 date come from Yogonet’s launch report. Neither source gives bet limits.

🔢 Your chance of clearing each Spire+ level
Your chance of getting past one Spire+ level is the number of safe boxes divided by all the boxes in the row. Pragmatic Play’s rules allow 1, 2 or 3 skulls and 2, 3 or 4 boxes per row. So one skull in four boxes is a 75% chance per level, and three skulls in four boxes, the Master mode, is 25%. Clearing all nine Master levels is a 1 in 262,144 chance.
If the Master top prize were priced at the full 97.5% RTP, it would be about 255,600x. Pragmatic Play’s 250,000x figure is close to that. For any cash out point, your chance of reaching a multiplier is about 97.5% divided by it: about 48.8% for 2x, 9.8% for 10x and 0.98% for 100x.
🏆 Spire+ tops out at 250,000x when you clear all nine levels
Pragmatic Play’s launch release of 3 March 2026 gives Spire+ a maximum win of 250,000x, and its game page says you get the maximum win by clearing all nine levels. On the hardest setting that means picking the one safe box out of four, nine times in a row, a 1 in 262,144 chance. On a $0.10 bet, 250,000x is $25,000.
Pragmatic Play’s page does not list bet limits or a cash cap. Casinos often set a maximum payout per bet, so check the game rules before you play for the top prize.
🛡️ Spire+ is not sold as provably fair
Pragmatic Play’s Spire+ page does not call the game provably fair, and it gives you no seed or hash to check a round. Pragmatic Play is a licensed studio that sells into regulated markets, where games are tested before they go live. So with Spire+ you trust that testing, not a check you run yourself. That is different from InOut’s Chicken Road and Stake’s Originals, which are provably fair.
Our guide to provably fair games explains what that difference means for you.
⚖️ Spire+ against Chicken Road and Cash or Crash Live
Spire+ by Pragmatic Play, Chicken Road by InOut Games and Cash or Crash Live by Evolution are all ladder games: you climb step by step and can cash out between steps. Spire+ pays 97.5%, or up to 98.25%. Chicken Road pays 98%. Cash or Crash Live pays up to 99.59% with best play. Spire+ is the shortest ladder, with nine levels, and has a 250,000x top win.
Chicken Road costs a little less per bet than Spire+ at its 97.5% setting and lets you check each round. Cash or Crash Live is the cheapest of the three, but only with best play, and its rounds are slower. Spire+ has the shortest climb and the biggest top prize of the three.
🌍 Where you can play Spire+
Spire+ is sold by Pragmatic Play to online casinos as part of its arcade range, next to Mines+ and Plinko+. Pragmatic Play holds licences in many regulated markets, including the UK and Malta, and its Spire+ page lists 32 languages and several currencies. Whether a casino in your country carries Spire+ is up to that casino. Look for the Pragmatic Play name on the game tile.
Our Pragmatic Play page covers the studio’s crash games, Spaceman and High Flyer.

⚠️ Five Spire+ mistakes to avoid
The most common Spire+ mistake is expecting an easy mode to reach the top. Even with one skull in four boxes, a 75% chance per level, clearing all nine levels of Spire+ by Pragmatic Play happens only about once in 13 tries. The 97.5% RTP means the game keeps about 2.5 cents of every $1 over time, whichever mode you pick.
- Expecting Easy to reach the top. Nine levels at 75% each is about a 1 in 13 chance to clear them all.
- Thinking Random is safer. Random only picks a box for you. The chance per level is the same.
- Chasing 250,000x. On Master, that is a 1 in 262,144 chance.
- Ignoring the RTP spread. Pragmatic Play says some choices return up to 98.25%. The info screen shows which.
- Paying for Spire+ predictors. No app can see where the skull is. See our predictor scams guide.
