Each crash round is independent, so probabilities multiply. The "once every" and per-session figures are approximations that treat streak windows as independent blocks - close enough that the order of magnitude is reliable.

Start with the single-round figure. At a 3% edge, a round crashes below 2x 51.5% of the time. That is the most common misreading in crash games: players assume a 2x cash-out is a coin flip in their favour, when it is slightly against them. The streak probability is that number multiplied by itself for each round in the run, and the tool converts it to a plain frequency: once in so many rounds.

📊 The maths behind it
The chance that one round crashes below a multiplier m is 1 – (1 – edge)/m, because (1 – edge)/m is the chance of reaching m. Call that p. Rounds are independent, so the chance of n early crashes in a row is p multiplied by itself n times, written p^n. A streak of length n turns up about once every 1/p^n rounds, and in a session of N rounds you should expect roughly (N – n + 1) × p^n of them, because every round except the last few can start one.
Worked example at 3% edge and a 2x threshold, where p = 51.5%:
Lower the threshold to 1.5x and p drops to 35.3%, so five in a row becomes a 0.55% event, about once in 180 rounds. Raise the edge and every figure moves the other way. The tool recomputes the whole table when either input changes.
🎯 What it cannot tell you
It cannot prove any specific game is fair. It can only show that the streak you saw is consistent with fairness, which is a different claim. It also says nothing about the next round. After five crashes under 2x, the chance of a sixth is still p. There is no pressure building and no correction coming, and every product sold on the promise that there is belongs in the patterns article or the scams guide.

Is a streak of early crashes proof of rigging?
No. At a 3% edge and a 2x threshold, five in a row happens once every 28 rounds and ten in a row once every 762 rounds. A busy game runs thousands of rounds a day, so every streak length up to about 15 is seen regularly across the player base. Rigging would show up as a persistent gap between the observed and expected frequencies, not as a single run.
After five early crashes, is a high multiplier due?
No. Each round is generated independently from its own seed. The chance of the next round crashing below 2x is 51.5% whether the previous five crashed at 1.01x or 100x. Betting bigger because a big round feels due is the behaviour the edge is built to profit from.
What threshold should I use?
Use your own cash-out target. If you cash out at 1.5x, a crash below 1.5x is what costs you money, and p is 35.3% at a 3% edge. If you cash out at 3x, p is 67.7% and long losing runs are far more common.
The calculator says a 15-streak is rare, but I have seen one. Why?
Rare per starting point is not rare per player base. A 15-streak at 2x occurs about once in 21,000 rounds. A game running 150 rounds an hour produces about 3,600 rounds a day, so any single game shows one roughly every six days, and there are hundreds of games and operators.
