The 30-second version

Red Baron is Evolution’s plane crash game, released on 12 November 2025. A plane takes off, a multiplier climbs, and you cash out before the plane flies away. The top multiplier is 20,000x. You can place up to three bets each round, and each bet has its own Auto Cash Out. There are two versions: one with a live host on video, and one with no host. A random number generator decides when the plane leaves, and it can leave at 1.00x. Evolution’s launch news gives no RTP. Game databases list 97%, which is a 3% house edge.

✈️ A Red Baron round is bet, take off, then cash out before the plane leaves

A Red Baron round has three stages, and Evolution’s game page names them: betting, flying and cash out. You place up to three bets while the betting timer runs. The plane takes off and the multiplier rises from 1.00x. You press Cash Out on each bet before the plane flies away, or let Auto Cash Out do it at a number you picked. Any Red Baron bet still open when the plane leaves is lost.

1

Place up to three bets

Evolution’s game page says you can place up to three separate bets per round. Each bet has its own stake and its own Cash Out button.

2

Set Auto Cash Out if you want it

You can turn on Auto Cash Out for each bet. It cashes that bet out for you when the multiplier reaches the number you set.

3

Watch the plane climb

The plane takes off and the multiplier starts to rise. Your possible win is your stake times the multiplier on screen.

4

Cash out before it flies away

You cash out each bet on its own. When the plane flies away, every bet you did not cash out is lost. Evolution says this can happen straight away, at 1.00x.

Red Baron also shows the top wins from recent rounds, plus live updates when other players cash out. Evolution’s Chief Product Officer, Todd Haushalter, said the aim was a simple game that works for first-time crash players. These screens do not change your odds. They do make it easier to keep playing, so pick a stop point before you start.

Red Baron is Evolution’s third crash-style game, after Stock Market and Race Track. It is the first one built around a rising multiplier and a plane, the same idea as Spribe’s Aviator. Our Evolution crash games page covers the full set.

📊 Red Baron’s RTP is not in Evolution’s launch news, and databases list 97%

Evolution did not state an RTP for Red Baron in its launch news of 12 November 2025, and its game page does not show one either. The game database Slotcatalog lists Red Baron at 97% RTP, with bets from €0.10 to €1,000. A 97% RTP is a 3% house edge. Over a long run you get back about 97 cents for every $1 you bet. The game’s help screen at your casino shows the real figure, and that is the one to trust.

Three bets a round means three times the cost. The house edge applies to every bet you place, so filling all three slots triples what you lose on average.

Your bets each roundAverage loss per round at 97%Average loss over 100 rounds
One $1 bet3 cents$3
Three $1 bets9 cents$9
One $10 bet30 cents$30
Three $10 bets90 cents$90

📝 For the record: The 97% RTP and the €0.10 to €1,000 bet range come from Slotcatalog’s listing, not from Evolution. Your casino may set different limits. Evolution’s news release and game page, which we checked on 27 September 2026, give the 20,000x top multiplier and the three-bet rule but no RTP.

🔢 Your chance of reaching each Red Baron multiplier at 97%

At a 97% RTP, the chance that a Red Baron round reaches a multiplier is 97% divided by that multiplier. That is the standard crash game formula, and here it uses the 97% figure from Slotcatalog. So the plane reaches 2x in about 48.5% of rounds and 10x in about 9.7%. The 20,000x top multiplier that Evolution announced on 12 November 2025 comes up about once in 20,600 rounds.

1,000x0.097%1,031$0.97
20,000x (top)0.0049%20,619$0.97

Every row pays back the same 97 cents per $1 over time. That is why no cash out number beats the others. A low target wins often but pays little. A high target pays a lot but loses most rounds. The crash probability calculator works out any other target.

If Red Baron follows the standard formula, about 3 rounds in 100 end at 1.00x, before anyone can cash out. Evolution’s own game rules say a 1.00x round can happen and that it loses every bet placed. Auto Cash Out cannot save you in those rounds.

🏆 Red Baron tops out at 20,000x, and your casino sets the cash limit

Evolution’s launch news says the Red Baron multiplier can reach 20,000x. That is the top of the curve, not something to expect. A 20,000x win on a €0.10 bet is €2,000, and on a €1 bet it is €20,000. Evolution has not published a separate cash cap for Red Baron, so check your casino’s game rules for a maximum payout per bet or per round before you aim high.

Your betPaid at 20,000xChance at 97%

€1€20,000About 1 in 20,600
€10€200,000About 1 in 20,600

The chance is the same whatever you bet. A bigger bet only changes how much you lose on the thousands of rounds that end lower.

🛡️ Red Baron uses a random number generator, not a provably fair seed

Evolution’s Red Baron game page says a random number generator (RNG) decides when the plane flies away. Evolution’s game page does not call Red Baron provably fair, and it does not describe a seed or hash you can check after a round. That is different from Spribe’s Aviator, which is provably fair. With Red Baron you rely on Evolution’s licences and testing, not on a check you can run yourself.

The live host version has a real host in a red uniform on a video stream. The host does not decide when the plane leaves. The RNG does, in both versions. Evolution describes the same game in both, with or without the video. Our guide to provably fair games explains what the difference means for you.

⚖️ Red Baron against Cash or Crash Live and Aviator

Red Baron is Evolution’s rising multiplier crash game, while Cash or Crash Live, also by Evolution, is a 20-step ladder decided by real ball draws. Cash or Crash Live has a best RTP of 99.59% and a 50,000x top win. Spribe’s Aviator has a 97% RTP, two bets per round and provably fair rounds. Red Baron is closest to Aviator: the same plane idea and a reported 97% RTP, but three bets and a 20,000x top. Other crash games in the same style include Zeppelin from Betsolutions and Avia Rush from Evoplay.

If you want the best return, Cash or Crash Live costs less per bet, but only at its best strategy, and its rounds are slower. If you want to check each round yourself, Aviator lets you do that. Red Baron is the one to pick if you want three bets at once and the option of a live host.

🌍 Where you can play Red Baron

Red Baron is sold by Evolution to licensed online casinos, so whether you can play it depends on which casinos in your country carry Evolution games. Evolution released Red Baron on 12 November 2025 in two versions, one with a live host and one without. We found it listed at casinos licensed in Spain, among other markets. It is not a one-casino game, so look for the Evolution name on the game tile.

In India, Africa and Brazil, many sites show a game called Red Baron. Some are old slot machines with the same name. The crash game is the one with a plane, a rising multiplier and a Cash Out button, made by Evolution.

⚠️ Six mistakes that cost Red Baron players money

The most common Red Baron mistake is using all three bet slots every round without thinking about cost. At the reported 97% RTP, three $1 bets lose about 9 cents a round on average, three times the loss of one bet. The other mistakes on this list come from Evolution’s own rules: rounds can end at 1.00x, and the RNG decides the end of every round.

  • Filling all three slots by habit. Three bets cost three times as much. Use a second or third bet only if you meant to spend that much.
  • Chasing 20,000x. At 97%, 20,000x comes about once in 20,600 rounds. Most players never see it.
  • Reading the wins board as a sign. Top wins and other players’ cash outs show what already happened. They do not change the next round.
  • Forgetting 1.00x rounds. Some rounds end at 1.00x before you can cash out. No setting can save a bet in those rounds.
  • Paying for predictor apps. Nobody outside Evolution can see when the RNG will end a round. Apps and Telegram groups that say they can are scams. See our predictor scams guide.
  • Skipping the help screen. The 97% is a database figure. Your casino’s game rules show the real RTP and any payout limit.
